Second Opinion

What would you like to check?

Take one photo of your plant. Free AI experts look at it on their own, then a judge combines their answers.

Show us your plant. Five free experts will look.

Each opinion comes from a different AI model working on its own, so you can see where they agree and where they don't.

Take one now or pick from your gallery. Get the leaves and the soil in frame.

What each expert said

Uses free AI models only, so checks cost nothing. AI can misread a photo; for a valuable or badly sick plant, take a sample to a local nursery too.

Natural light works best. Avoid flash.

Settings

Your OpenRouter API key is already set. Paste a different one to replace it.

OpenRouter API key

This app only calls free models, so checks cost nothing. OpenRouter allows 50 free requests a day (about 8 checks); adding $10 of credit once raises that to 1000, and free models still cost nothing.

Pl@ntNet API key (optional)

Pl@ntNet is an AI trained on millions of plant photos. Its free plan gives 500 identifications a day at my.plantnet.org. It only works when this page is on a website: in your Pl@ntNet key settings, turn on "expose my API key" and add that website under Authorized domains.

The experts

Free models that can read photos. Their names end in ":free"; paid models are blocked. Leave a line empty to use fewer experts.
